An updated Squarespace website for church ministers and speakers based in Christchurch, New Zealand.
THE BRIEF
Bernard and Colleen are long time church ministers who were transitioning from leading a local church community into more of a traveling and consulting role, and wanted a site where they could share their writing through an ongoing blog, house an ‘About’ page, and list courses they offer. They also needed a donation portal integrated into the site, and tutorials to help them manage their site as they traveled. The aim was to create a warm, grounded digital space that felt authentic, simple, and faith-centred — a platform that could grow alongside their evolving ministry.

APPROACH
Having known Bernard and Colleen for years, our collaboration was relaxed and conversational. They trusted me to interpret their ideas and bring clarity to a collection of notes, documents, and teachings gathered over time. Because their content was rich but loosely organised, much of my process involved gently distilling and structuring it so the heart of their message came through clearly online.
Working across time zones and with varying levels of tech confidence, I focused on making things as simple and intuitive as possible — both in the site’s navigation and in the tutorials I created to help them manage it independently.
