About Backyard Creative

Websites that carry your work into the world

Your work matters. I design Squarespace websites that give it a clear, creative home so you can share your vision with ease, confidence, and maybe even a little joy.

Just a few of my clients

For people whose work has depth, heart, and purpose.

Most of my clients come to me at a crossroads. They’ve outgrown a DIY site, or they’re launching something new and meaningful, or they’re leading a project that asks for a professional online presence. What they share in common isn’t their industry—it’s intention. Their work is alive with creativity, transformation, or purpose.

If that sounds like you, my role is simple: to take what feels big, messy, or half-formed and translate it into a website that feels like you—clear, functional, and ready to be seen.

Hi, I’m Claire.

I know building a website can feel vulnerable—it’s not just a project, it’s your work, your voice, your story. That’s why I see my role as both designer and guide. I bring clarity and structure where you need it, while making space for the spark and serendipity that make your work alive.

With more than 85 five-star projects completed, I’ve learned this: the best websites aren’t just functional, they feel like home.
